Green Bay Packers Starting Player Dies

The Green Bay Packers boast a storied legacy with numerous remarkable individuals having graced their team over the decades. As one of the oldest franchises in NFL history, they possess an immensely rich football heritage. Former Packers offensive tackle Joe Sims passed away on April 26, 2024, at the age of 55. Sims, who played for the Packers from 1992 to 1995, notably started in 14 games during the 1994 season.

A funeral home in Lincoln, Neb., where Sims played college football for the University of Nebraska, shared an obituary, although no details regarding his death were provided apart from the date.
