Player Shares Confident Remarks on Titans’ Wide Receivers

The Tennessee Titans have bolstered their receiving corps this offseason to support young quarterback Will Levis. Alongside future Hall of Famer DeAndre Hopkins, the team has signed former All-Pro wide receiver Calvin Ridley and former 1,000-yard receiver Tyler Boyd.

Former NFL wide receiver Plaxico Burress recently praised the Titans’ wide receiver group on The Carton Show, stating, “They have one of the best wide receiver groups in all of football.”

Burress is not mistaken. Hopkins is easily among the top five or six receivers of his generation. At 31, the five-time All-Pro has recorded his seventh 1,000-yard season, amassing over 12,000 career receiving yards, nearly 930 receptions, and 78 touchdown catches. He is undoubtedly the leader of this group.

Ridley, who joined the team on a four-year deal this offseason, brings impressive credentials with two 1,000-yard seasons, including one last year in Jacksonville. Despite being 29 and dealing with a gambling suspension and multiple injuries, Ridley remains one of the most talented receivers in the game.

Veteran Tyler Boyd also joined the Titans this offseason, reuniting with his former offensive coordinator, Brian Callahan. Entering his ninth NFL season, Boyd has multiple 1,000-yard seasons to his name.

This trio of wide receivers promises to be a formidable unit. Additionally, if former first-round pick Treylon Burks can reach his potential, this offense could be exceptional.
