Sean McVay and Rams’ Position Coaches Inspire Local Coaches at 2nd Annual High School Coaches Clinic

The 2nd annual high school coaches clinic, hosted by the Los Angeles Rams, brought together the team’s coaching staff and local high school varsity football coaches for a day of learning and collaboration at the team’s practice facility.

Kicking off with opening remarks from Rams High School Football Associate Manager Ghalee Wadood, the clinic provided high school coaches with the chance to observe Rams practice and participate in breakout sessions led by Rams’ position coaches, focusing on coaching essentials and player development.

Wadood, himself a former high school football coach, emphasized the event’s impact on coaches of all levels, hoping they would take away valuable insights tailored to their teams’ needs. Rams Defensive Backs Coach and Pass Game Coordinator Aubrey Pleasant highlighted the crucial role high school coaches play in shaping young athletes’ lives.

The day concluded with Rams Head Coach Sean McVay sharing his insights and motivational approaches, providing coaches with practical tools and heartfelt advice. Attendees traveled from across Southern California and beyond to benefit from the expertise of Rams coaches.

Led by various Rams position coaches, including Chase Blackburn, Nick Caley, Ron Gould, Giff Smith, Dave Ragone, Ryan Wendell, and Eric Yarber, the clinic aimed to enhance coaches’ understanding of football strategies and foster community engagement.

This free clinic offered a valuable platform for local coaches to gain insights from NFL professionals, with the goal of promoting and sustaining high school football participation. For more information on the Rams’ community outreach efforts, visit [link].
