Indianapolis Colts Player Investigated as 14-Year-Old Son Reported Missing and Endangered for Weeks
A former Indianapolis Colts player is currently under investigation amid concerning developments regarding the disappearance of his teenage son.
Indiana State Police are actively searching for 14-year-old Bryson Muir, who has been classified as “missing and endangered” for several weeks, according to authorities speaking to NBC Chicago.
Bryson, described as 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 185 pounds with black hair and brown eyes, was last seen wearing an orange Under Armour shirt and blue jeans.
Daniel Muir, a former defensive tackle for the Indianapolis Colts whose last season with the team was in 2011, and his wife Kristen Muir are the parents of Bryson.
The investigation took a significant turn when Muir’s parents reportedly canceled a meeting with law enforcement earlier in the week, shortly after police and the Department of Child Services conducted a site visit at their residence. Their home is situated on the grounds of a religious organization known as the Servant Leader’s Foundation.
According to reports, Bryson Muir was last seen on June 16 with his mother in the Cleveland, Ohio area, departing from his grandmother’s residence. Concern for Bryson’s well-being escalated when his grandmother notified authorities.
Authorities have expressed suspicions of potential domestic abuse involving Bryson at his family’s residence. These concerns intensified after Bryson’s grandmother provided officials with a photograph allegedly showing the teenager with a swollen and bruised eye.
Efforts to locate Bryson remain ongoing, with law enforcement urging anyone with information on his whereabouts to come forward immediately.
