Breaking News: Buffalo Bills Make Bold Move, Signing Wide Receiver from Carolina Panthers

The Buffalo Bills are set to sign veteran wide receiver Damiere Byrd, who was recently released by the Washington Commanders. The 31-year-old Byrd first entered the league in 2015 as an undrafted free agent with the Carolina Panthers, where both Bills head coach Sean McDermott and general manager Brandon Beane were previously employed.

Byrd played with the Panthers from 2016 to 2018, appearing in 17 games and recording 12 receptions for 129 yards and two touchdowns. His most notable play was a 103-yard kick return for a touchdown in 2017.

Byrd’s career has included stints with the Arizona Cardinals (2019), New England Patriots (2020), Chicago Bears (2021), and Atlanta Falcons (2022-2023). His standout season came with the Patriots, where he set career highs in targets (77), receptions (47), and receiving yards (604).
