Rome Odunze’s Advice Falls Flat, Leaving Aspiring Players Disheartened in ‘Hard Knocks’
Chicago Tribune Bears beat writer Brad Biggs joins FNIC to discuss Caleb Williams’ debut against the Bills.
Bears fans are well-acquainted with the enthusiasm and wisdom of rookie wide receiver Rome Odunze. Known for his positivity, Odunze recently offered valuable advice to two ninth-graders on preparing for game situations during practice, as revealed in the latest episode of “Hard Knocks.”
Odunze shared, “The more you prepare, the more you practice, the better you’ll be in real-game situations. Like Kobe Bryant said, he never took a shot in a game that he hadn’t practiced 1,000 times. The same goes for football. You should never catch a ball in a game that you haven’t caught a thousand times in practice, or a route you haven’t run before.”
