Eagles Key Player Out With Major Injury
The Philadelphia Eagles faced an unexpected setback on their Week 2 injury report released Friday. A key receiver was added to the report with a hamstring injury.
As the Eagles prepared for their Monday Night Football clash against the Atlanta Falcons, they conducted their second practice of the week. The team, which opened the season with a 34-29 victory over the Green Bay Packers in Brazil, now contends with several injury concerns.
At the start of the week, the Eagles listed three players on their injury report. Defensive tackle Milton Williams is dealing with a foot injury and has been limited in practice. Cornerback Isaiah Rodgers, who sustained a hand injury, has fully participated in practice. Linebacker Devin White is managing an ankle injury but has also been a full participant.
Additionally, offensive tackle Fred Johnson was added to the injury report on Friday due to a thumb injury, which limited his practice participation.
The most concerning update involves star wide receiver A.J. Brown, who is grappling with a hamstring injury. Brown was limited in Friday’s practice, and the Eagles are cautious not to overexert him early in the season.
Brown made a significant impact in Week 1, catching five passes on ten targets for 119 yards and a touchdown. The Eagles will need to monitor his condition closely to ensure he can contribute effectively moving forward.
