The Miami Dolphins reported nine players injured on Wednesday, while the Seattle Seahawks had twice that number.

When the two teams shared their first injury reports for Week 3, the Dolphins had a clear advantage. Their report listed nine players, exactly half of Seattle’s substantial total of 18.

Only two Dolphins players missed practice that day. Calais Campbell was resting as a veteran, while tackle Terron Armstead was out due to a shoulder injury sustained in the loss to the Buffalo Bills. Head coach Mike McDaniel commented on Armstead’s situation prior to practice.

Offensive lineman Robert Jones, who also hurt his shoulder against Buffalo, was one of six players listed as limited. Additionally, running backs Raheem Mostert (chest) and Jeff Wilson Jr. (oblique) were among the limited players, along with wide receivers Grant DuBose (shoulder) and Malik Washington (quadricep). This was Washington’s first practice in two weeks after being inactive for the first two games. Jaelan Phillips was also limited due to an Achilles issue, managed for load management after a prior injury.

Despite a shoulder injury, offensive lineman Liam Eichenberg fully participated in practice. He had appeared on the injury report in Week 2 with the same issue but played every snap against Buffalo.

SEAHAWKS INJURY REPORT

Seattle’s report included nine players who did not practice, six who were limited, and three fully participating.

Among those not practicing was former Dolphins linebacker Jerome Baker, who has a hamstring injury from Seattle’s recent overtime win against the New England Patriots. Other notable absences included starting running back Kenneth Walker III (oblique), guard Laken Tomlinson (rest), tight end Brady Russell (shoulder), and several linebackers and defensive players.

Limited participants included tight ends Pharaoh Brown (foot) and Noah Fant (toe), tackle George Fant (knee), wide receiver Tyler Lockett (thigh), linebacker Derick Hall (hip), and cornerback Devon Witherspoon (hip).

Finally, wide receiver Laviska Shenault Jr. (foot), linebacker Tyrel Dodson (shoulder), and nose tackle Jarran Reed (knee) were the players listed as full participants.
