“Jayden Daniels is lighting it up and carrying the team, while Brian Robinson and Jeremy McNichols are delivering on the ground,” Villano wrote. “The Commanders didn’t seem to miss Ekeler in their win against the Cardinals, which opens up the possibility of a trade.”
As Washington prepares for its Week 5 matchup, Ekeler’s status remains a pivotal storyline. Should he pass his final tests and return to the lineup, his versatility and experience would undoubtedly provide a boost to the Commanders’ offense.
