The Las Vegas Raiders are working to rebuild their culture, starting with the hiring of Pete Carroll and John Spytek to help steer the franchise back to success.
Another key figure in shaping the team’s future is Tom Brady. The seven-time Super Bowl champion became a minority owner in 2024 and has quickly taken an active role in reshaping the franchise. His influence was pivotal in pushing for Ben Johnson’s hire and ultimately securing Pete Carroll’s arrival.
According to Diana Russini of The Athletic, Brady is calling the shots in Vegas. Speaking on the Ryen Russillo podcast, she emphasized Brady’s dominant role as a minority owner.
“Let’s make it clear—Tom Brady is running everything in Vegas,” Russini said. “It’s all Tom Brady. There’s been some rumors and chatter, but I’m telling you, he’s the one making the calls. He’s trying to change the Raiders and has a huge amount of influence.”
If Brady truly has this much control, the team’s moves this offseason will be worth watching. With his track record of success, Brady’s leadership could help guide the Raiders toward making the right decisions and possibly improving their performance on the field.
