Marquise Brown, an experienced wide receiver, has agreed to a new deal.

Wide receiver Marquise Brown, an NFL veteran of five seasons, inked a new deal with the Kansas City Chiefs. The 2023 Arizona Cardinals were home to former first-round selection Brown, who had also been a member of the Baltimore Ravens.

During the last year of his deal, Marquise Brown caught passes from three different quarterbacks. Due to Kyler Murray’s early-season injury, Brown was the starting quarterback for Josh Dobbs, a journeyman, and fifth-round rookie Clayton Tune. Eventually, Murray returned and helped the club close out a couple of victories. Brown caught 51 passes for 574 yards and four touchdowns on 101 targets at the end of the season.

In the 2019 NFL Draft, Brown was selected and made his NFL debut. The Oklahoma product was chosen by the Baltimore Ravens and had an instant effect. The wide receiver, who played in 14 games and started 12, ended his rookie year with 46 catches for 584 yards and seven touchdowns, helping Lamar Jackson earn his first MVP award.

For the following two seasons, the wide receiver kept improving and emerged as the top option among wide receivers on the Ravens’ depth chart. In addition to scoring six more touchdowns in 2021, Brown had career highs in receiving yards (1,008), targets (146), and catches (91).

After that successful season, Brown was sold by the Ravens to the Cardinals in exchange for a first-round selection. Initially, Brown’s choice was vindicated since he and DeAndre Hopkins made a fantastic tandem. Sadly, he only made 12 appearances throughout the season due to an injury that hit him halfway through. The wide receiver completed 67 passes for 709 yards and 3 touchdowns on 107 targets during his time on the field.Marquise Brown has made 65 starts in 72 games since signing his rookie contract. The Oklahoma product has 313 catches for 3,644 yards and 28 touchdowns on 525 targets in his tenure on the field.
