Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard discloses something that saddened the fans.

Carolina Panthers’ breakout running back Chuba Hubbard acknowledges the significance of his performance during the 2023 season and aims to replicate it. During a recent press conference, Hubbard shared that his preparation during previous seasons’ injuries was geared towards seizing the opportunity to shine as he did last year.

“My goal heading into the 2024 season is to be one of the best tools for this team,” Hubbard expressed. “I want to win. I want to win in Carolina. So, however that looks—whether it’s me catching the ball, pass blocking, or running the ball—I need to be at my best. So whatever it takes.”

In 2023, Hubbard rushed for 902 yards on 238 attempts and scored five touchdowns, marking his best season yet. This performance was a significant improvement from the 2022 season, where he recorded only 95 attempts, 466 yards, and two touchdowns.

Approaching an important contract year, Hubbard, a fourth-round pick in the 2021 draft, aims to build upon the confidence gained from his exceptional play.

“Building up a good base, a solid base, and then putting it all together—I think that was big for me,” Hubbard remarked.

His performance has not only been beneficial for himself but also for the Panthers.
