The Baltimore Ravens are perpetually overshadowed by the hype surrounding MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson, but the arrival of star running back Derrick Henry promises to significantly bolster an area they’ve sought to strengthen in recent years.
Following a challenging conclusion to his tenure with the Tennessee Titans, Henry has declared his determined quest to secure a Lombardi trophy.
Having been the focal point in Tennessee for years, Henry acknowledges he will now assume a supporting role while Jackson leads the offense. Eager to chase a championship ring, Henry embraces the opportunity to contribute to the Ravens’ potent offensive lineup.
“It brings a new dynamic because [Jackson] is a dual-threat quarterback, dangerous both through the air and on the ground,” Henry commented. “It’s refreshing not to be in the spotlight, with the focus shifting to him. I’m excited to start working hard and see it all come together on the field.”
