On Friday, the Chiefs released their final injury report of the postseason following their last practice before the Super Bowl, with mostly positive updates.
Quarterback Patrick Mahomes participated fully in all three practices this week, despite a knee injury he sustained against the Cleveland Browns in December. He’s cleared to play on Sunday.
Meanwhile, wide receiver Skyy Moore has been listed as doubtful for Super Bowl 59 due to an abdomen injury. Moore, who was significant on special teams earlier this season, could have been a surprise asset against the Eagles’ defense. In his three-year NFL career, he’s accumulated 43 receptions for 494 yards and one touchdown.
Punter Matt Araiza, who battled an illness in New Orleans, and offensive tackle Jawaan Taylor, who was dealing with a knee issue, are both cleared and have no designations for the game.
Despite Moore’s potential absence, the Chiefs are ready for the matchup against the Eagles, though it appears Moore won’t be making any surprise contributions.
