Seattle Seahawks quest for a new coach might just come to an end.

Four NFL clubs chose new head coaches this week, and the Seattle Seahawks are still searching for Pete Carroll’s replacement.

During the week, the head coaches of the Atlanta Falcons (Raheem Morris), Tennessee Titans (Brian Callahan), Carolina Panthers (Dave Canales), and Los Angeles Chargers (Jim Harbaugh) were chosen. The two teams remaining in quest of a head coach are the Seahawks and the Washington Commanders.

The Seahawks’ quest to find Pete Carroll’s replacement was made clearer by the hires. The Seahawks were keeping an eye on Morris, one of the new hires.

It was claimed that the Seahawks had set up follow-up interviews with five applicants for this week.

The New York Giants offensive coordinator Mike Kafka, the Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn, the Carolina Panthers defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero, and the Las Vegas Raiders defensive coordinator Patrick Graham have all been interviewed by the Seahawks or will be. Morris was apparently set up for an interview by the Seahawks, but on Thursday, the Falcons hired him.

Second interviews may not be over for the Seahawks.

Ben Johnson, the offensive coordinator for the Detroit Lions, was interviewed by the Seahawks in the first place. It is not permitted for clubs to conduct interviews with the coaches of any teams who are still in the playoffs. On Sunday, the Lions and 49ers will play in the NFC championship game.

Mike Macdonald, the defensive coordinator for Baltimore, would be of interest to Seattle. The Seahawks will have to wait for an interview if they are interested in the Ravens because they play Kansas City in the AFC championship game on Sunday.
