Breaking News: Patriots hire Senior Offensive Assistant Head Coach

Reports from various media outlets indicate that Ben McAdoo will be joining the coaching staff of the New England Patriots as an offensive assistant.

Aged 46, McAdoo previously served as the offensive coordinator for the Carolina Panthers during the 2022 season before his dismissal in February 2023.

Additionally, he held the position of head coach for the New York Giants for two seasons, from 2016 to 2017, amassing a regular-season record of 13-15. Prior to his stint with the Giants, he spent two seasons as their offensive coordinator from 2014 to 2015. Notably, McAdoo has previous experience working alongside the Patriots’ new offensive coordinator, Alex Van Pelt, during their time with the Green Bay Packers from 2012 to 2013.

At that time, McAdoo served as the Packers’ quarterbacks coach while Van Pelt coached the running backs. These details were reported by Field Level Media.
