Former Auburn running back and running backs coach Carnell Williams is set to join the Las Vegas Raiders, according to Mike Gittens at The War Rapport.

During his time at Auburn from 2001 to 2004, Williams amassed impressive stats, totaling 3,831 yards and 45 touchdowns rushing, along with 45 receptions and another touchdown as a receiver. He has also found success as a coach.

From 2019 to the end of the 2023 season, Williams served as the running backs coach for the Tigers. Additionally, he took on the role of interim head coach at the conclusion of the 2022 season and served as associate head coach in the past year.

Williams departed from his position with the Tigers on January 11. His opportunity to join the Raiders presents an exciting chance to excel at the highest level of football.
